The port schedule we follow lists Oceania Nautica-Aurelia in Kuşadası twice in June 2027, six days apart. The two calls are seven hours long or more, but they start very differently: one at 07:00 and leaving at 16:00, the other at 10:00 and leaving at 17:00. Three hours of morning make more difference than the extra hour in the afternoon.
The 07:00 to 16:00 call
You are in the taxi at about 07:30 and must be back by 15:00: around seven and a half hours.
- About 08:00: Ephesus upper gate, early enough to beat the heat and many of the groups; check current opening hours.
- About 10:15: lower gate, then up to the House of the Virgin Mary, 30 to 45 minutes.
- About 11:45: the Temple of Artemis, a short stop by the single column.
- About 12:15: Şirince for an early lunch, about an hour.
- About 14:15: back at the port.
That is all four stops, but at a steady pace. If you prefer to slow down, leave Şirince out.
The 10:00 to 17:00 call
In the taxi at about 10:30, back by 16:00: five and a half hours, starting when Ephesus is at its busiest and the sun is high. Choose three stops at most:
- About 11:00 to 13:15: Ephesus, upper gate to lower gate; take water and a hat.
- About 13:30: the Temple of Artemis.
- About 14:00: a late lunch in Selçuk, or the House of the Virgin Mary instead of lunch.
- About 15:30: back at the port.

These times come from the port schedule we follow; your cruise documents come first. Be back at the port at least 60 minutes before departure, or by the all-aboard time printed on board if that is earlier.
Payment and extras
