Why Pamukkale works
Pamukkale is a UNESCO World Heritage site: white travertine terraces, the Cleopatra Pool with its sunken columns, and the Hierapolis ruins above them, all in one zone. Morning is the best time at Pamukkale: the terraces are cooler, the light is white and the big coach groups have not arrived yet.
