Apollon Temple
Built from the 6th century BCE — the third-largest temple of the ancient world. Designed for 122 columns; only 3 were ever completed. UNESCO tentative list. Surrounded by ancient ruins.
Other Sights
Altınkum Beach (one of Türkiye's prettiest sandy beaches), Akbük Bay, Lake Bafa (1 hour away), Miletus ancient city (30 min away). Seaside restaurants are famous for fish dishes for dinner.
Distance and Duration
Kuşadası → Didim is 80 km, around 1.5 hours. Scenic coastal road via Söke. Spending 4-6 hours in Didim and returning in the evening is ideal.
