Pamukkale in brief
Morning is the best time at Pamukkale: the terraces are cooler, the light is white and the big coach groups have not arrived yet. The antique pool, the museum and the theatre sit in the same archaeological zone as the terraces.
Hierapolis was a Roman spa city built on these springs. The little museum in the old bath is worth a few minutes.
