What Is the Ephesus Night Museum?
Since 3 June 2026, the Turkish Ministry of Culture has been running a Gece Müzeciliği (Night Museum) programme at Ephesus Ancient City every Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday — entry from 19:00, site closes at 23:00. The programme continues until 1 October 2026.
What to See
The highlight is a projection-mapping show on the facade of the Library of Celsus — one of the most photographed buildings in the ancient world. After dark it becomes a canvas for light and moving imagery. The show runs continuously throughout the evening. The entire site is also specially lit: Curetes Street, the Great Theatre, the Domitian Temple and the Terraced Houses all appear under dramatic floodlighting.
You also share the site with far fewer people than in daytime hours — a meaningful advantage in the summer months when day crowds are substantial.

Nights: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday. Entry opens: 19:00. Site closes: 23:00. Season: 3 June 2026 – 1 October 2026.
Tickets
Entry is sold via the Turkish Ministry of Culture's ticketing portal (muze.gov.tr). The 2026 price is approximately €18–20 per person. Online purchase is strongly recommended — walk-in capacity is limited and popular evenings sell out. We do not sell tickets; the €100 transfer price covers transport only.
Transfer from Kusadasi — €100 Round Trip
Ephesus is approximately 30 km from Kusadasi city centre — about 30–35 minutes by private car. Our flat rate for the evening programme is €100 round trip for up to 7 passengers (Mercedes Vito). We pick you up at your hotel at 18:15, arrive at the South Gate by 18:50, wait while you visit, and return you at either 22:15 or 23:00 — your choice. Pay the driver in cash on the day (EUR, USD or TL).
What About Taxis?
A local taxi costs approximately €30–50 one way with no return guarantee. Many are unwilling to wait 3 hours without a significant surcharge. For a predictable evening out, pre-booked private transfer is far more reliable.
What to Bring
Comfortable closed shoes (the site involves 2+ km walking on uneven paving), a light jacket (breezy evenings even in summer), your pre-booked tickets downloaded to your phone, water, and a phone or camera for the Library projection show.

Does the transfer include the entry ticket?
No — the €100 is the private transfer only. Entry tickets are sold separately via muze.gov.tr.
Can I return before 23:00?
Yes — WhatsApp the driver when you are ready. We pick up at 21:00 or 22:00 if you prefer. Same price.
What if the programme is cancelled due to weather?
