Azamara Onward calls at Kuşadası in October 2026, April and July 2027, mostly 08:00 to 22:00. A yellow taxi day out, then an evening in town.
Azamara Onward calls at Kuşadası three times in the port schedule we follow: in October 2026 and April 2027 from 08:00 to 22:00, and in July 2027 from 08:00 to 17:00. On the two long calls the ship is still in port after dark, which means your day has two halves: the sights inland by yellow taxi, and then Kuşadası itself in the evening, on foot from the port.
The day half: back by mid-afternoon
In the taxi at about 08:30. All four classic stops take about 7.5 to 8.5 hours port to port, so a full loop of Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis and Şirince brings you back around 16:00 to 17:00. If you want more energy for the evening, keep to three stops and be back by early afternoon.
- About 09:00 to 11:15: Ephesus, upper gate to lower gate
- About 11:30: the Temple of Artemis
- About 12:00 to 14:00: Şirince for a long lunch
- About 14:30: the House of the Virgin Mary, as a detour on the way back
- About 15:45: back at the port, rest before the evening
The evening half: Kuşadası on foot
The town centre sits right around the cruise port. After a rest on board, walk out along the waterfront, find dinner, and come back on foot. You do not need the taxi for this part. Be back at the port at least an hour before the 22:00 departure, or by the all-aboard time printed on board if that is earlier.
The July call: 08:00 to 17:00
With a 16:00 cut-off and summer heat, there is no evening half. Do Ephesus first, then the House of the Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis, about 5 to 5.5 hours port to port, and keep Şirince only if you are clearly ahead of time.

Booking notes
The driver is paid in cash; there is no card in the taxi. Entrance fees, food and drinks are not included. The basic ride is the port to Ephesus and back; the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis and Şirince are added at an extra charge.
