How the road goes
Your driver handles the routing. From Golden Gate Apart the car follows the beach road up to the Degirmendere junction and onto the coastal highway, picks up the motorway, and runs non-stop to Ephesus unless you want a break.
Out of Ladies Beach we take the beach road up to the Degirmendere junction and onto the coastal highway, then the highway for the bulk of the 25 km. Luggage rides in the back; you ride up front in air conditioning.
The booking covers
- Free cancellation on the Ephesus Ancient City ride until 24 hours out
- A fixed Ephesus fare confirmed before you ride
- One car for your party alone on the Ephesus run
- Your own schedule out of Ladies Beach, no shared stops
- A driver who already knows Golden Gate Apart and its entrance
The Ephesus end of the ride
Your exit gate is your pickup point. The driver parks where you start, agrees a meeting time, and is waiting when you come out.
When to leave
Afternoon visits work outside peak summer: cruise groups leave after lunch and the light on the library turns warm late in the day. The site is open marble; in high summer the early slot is the comfortable one, in spring the late light is kind.
Good to know
Start at the upper gate and the whole visit runs downhill to the lower one. Shade is scarce on the marble avenue; hat, water and sunscreen matter from May to September.
The House of Virgin Mary sits 8 km uphill from the site; add it at booking and we plan the order. The marble is polished underfoot; shoes with grip beat sandals, especially on the Curetes Street slope.
Paying for the ride
Your fare on this route is set in EUR the moment you book. You can pay the driver cash on the day or settle online by card. No deposit is taken, and cancelling is free until a day before.
The quote you receive is the price you pay, for up to seven passengers and their luggage. There is nothing to pay in advance: cash to the driver, or card online. Cancellation is free until 24 hours before pickup.
