Norwegian Viva's seven Kuşadası calls in the port schedule we follow, from June to September 2027, do not share a timetable. Two run 07:00 to 16:00, two run 07:00 to 14:00, and three arrive at 13:00 and stay until 21:00 or 22:00. Those are almost opposite days, so check your date first and then read the matching section.
Morning calls: 07:00 to 14:00
Back at the port by 13:00 leaves about five and a half hours of taxi time after getting off the ship. That is enough for Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary (about 4.5 to 5 hours port to port), or Ephesus with a quick stop at the Temple of Artemis. Şirince does not fit. Leave early: you may reach Ephesus close to opening time, so check current opening hours.
Morning calls: 07:00 to 16:00
Two more hours make a difference. With a 15:00 return you have about seven and a half hours, enough for Ephesus, the House of the Virgin Mary and the Temple of Artemis at an easy pace, about 5 to 5.5 hours. All four stops would be a brisk day; Şirince is best left out or kept very short.
Afternoon calls: 13:00 to 21:00 or 22:00
Here the problem is not the ship but the sites. You are in the taxi at about 13:30, in the hottest part of a summer day, and Ephesus closes in the evening. Check current opening hours carefully before you plan.
- About 14:00 to 16:15: Ephesus, upper gate to lower gate, with plenty of water.
- About 16:45: the House of the Virgin Mary, if it is still open on your date.
- About 18:00: Şirince for dinner as the evening cools.
- By 20:00 or 21:00: back at the port, one hour before departure.
If closing times make this too tight, swap the house for an early dinner in Şirince and the Temple of Artemis, which you see from the edge of the field.

Before you go ashore
Pay the driver in cash; there is no card in the taxi. Entrance fees, food and drinks are not included. The basic ride is the port to Ephesus and back; the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis and Şirince are added at an extra charge.
