P&O's Arcadia calls at Kuşadası in October and November 2026 and August 2027, times not announced. How to find your yellow taxi driver at the port exit.
P&O Cruises' Arcadia comes into Kuşadası three times in the port schedule we follow: in October and November 2026 and once in August 2027. None of the calls has announced times yet. Whatever the hours turn out to be, the first quarter of an hour ashore works the same way, and it is the part many first-time visitors wonder about: getting from the gangway to the right car. Here is how that goes, one step at a time.
From the gangway to your driver, step by step
Step 1: Leave the ship with what you need for the day
Before you go down, check you have your cruise card, any photo ID the ship asks you to carry, cash for the driver and the site tickets, water, and your phone. Getting off the ship and out to the taxi takes roughly 15 to 30 minutes, so there is no need to rush to the first place in the queue.
Step 2: Walk through the cruise terminal
From the quay, follow the other passengers into the terminal building and through it. Keep going toward the exit signs. Our driver does not wait inside the terminal or on the quay, so do not stop to look for a sign there.
Step 3: Come out at the port exit
The meeting point is the port exit, at the end of your walk through the terminal. You can open it in advance on Google Maps at the port exit and save it on your phone, so you know which way you are heading before you even leave the cabin.
Step 4: Look for your name on a sign
Your driver stands at the exit holding a sign with your name, next to a licensed yellow taxi. Use the name you gave us when booking, and if you booked for a group, tell everyone whose name to look for. Say hello, settle into the car, and you are ready to talk the route through.
Step 5: If you cannot see the driver
Stay at the exit rather than wandering into town, so the driver can find you. Then send a WhatsApp message to +90 532 407 77 12 with your name, the ship name and what you can see around you. A photo of where you are standing helps. The exit can get busy, and a short message helps the driver walk straight to you.
Keep the phone ready
Charge your phone fully the night before and bring a power bank if you have one. Switch on mobile data roaming before you step off, or check with your network that it works in Turkey, because you cannot count on the ship wifi once you are ashore. Without data you cannot send that WhatsApp message or open the map.
Once you are in the car: matching the day to Arcadia's hours
The driver will ask what you want to see, and you choose the order. To answer well, you need Arcadia's times, which are not published yet. When they are, work backwards from the departure: be at the port at least 60 minutes before it, unless the all-aboard time printed on board is earlier, which then takes priority. The space between reaching the car and that return time is yours.
As a rough guide, Ephesus alone needs about 3.5 to 4 hours port to port, with the driver dropping you at the upper gate and waiting at the lower gate. Ephesus and the House of the Virgin Mary together need about 4.5 to 5 hours, and adding the Temple of Artemis makes it about 5 to 5.5 hours. All four stops including Şirince take about 7.5 to 8.5 hours port to port. If the call is too short for something on your list, the driver will say so plainly at the start rather than let you find out at the last gate.
Arcadia calls on our list

- Sab, 21 Nov · jam belum diumumkan
- Jum, 13 Agu · jam belum diumumkan
We list these from the port schedule we follow. P&O can change times or calls, so go by your own cruise documents. The Arcadia ship page covers the port pickup for this ship, and you can request your car on the port to Ephesus yellow taxi page.
Small things that save time at the exit
- The driver is paid in cash. There is no card in the taxi.
- Entrance fees, meals and drinks sit outside the taxi booking; pay for them at each site. Check current opening hours, as they change by season.
- When you book, tell us the ship name, your date, your party size and anything you particularly want to see.
- Pick one person in your party to watch for the name sign and one to keep the phone at hand.
The basic ride is the port to Ephesus and back. If you want the House of the Virgin Mary, the Temple of Artemis or Şirince as well, those stops cost extra; mention them when you book.
